1) How long does it take to start working in the U.S.?
It depends on how long it takes to get through testing, licensing and immigration. Factors to consider include your education, experience and green card priority date. Your recruiter can give you more details.

2) What type of US VISA will I receive?
Priority Care Staffing primarily utilizes permanent residency (green card) under the employment-based petition (EB3) to sponsor nurses for work in the US.

3) Can I bring my family?
Spouses and dependent children under age 21 are eligible to be included under your green card petition. However, you will have to pay all expenses associated with their visas and travel.

4) How do I know if working in the US is for me?
It’s fun and exciting, and at the same time challenging for sure and not for everyone, but in general it’s rewarding and worth pursuing. Challenges faced by International nurses includes: Language Barriers, different way of life (mixed culture) and being away from home.

5) What kind of job can I work in the US?
Priority Care Staffing have partnered with Skilled Nursing Facilities in the U.S.

6) How long is the employment agreement or contract?
You’ll be expected to work with us for 3 Years or 5460 hours. However, if you reached your 5460 in less than 3 years, your contract with Priority Care Staffing is considered as completed.

7) Is there any salary deduction when I start working in the US?
No. There is no salary deduction. All our services are FREE.

8) What is a VisaScreen? How can I get it?
VisaScreen certification is a comprehensive screening program for healthcare professionals who are not U.S. Citizens and are seeking an occupational visa to work in the United States. It provides the following: An assessment of an applicant’s education to ensure that it is comparable to that of a U.S. graduate in the same profession. A verification that all professional health acre licenses that an applicant ever held are valid and without restrictions An English language proficiency examination For Registered Nurses only, a verification that the nurse has passed wither the CGFNS Qualifying Exam or NCLEX-RN. You can apply for it online by logging in to the CGFNS International website or https://www.cgfns.org/.

9) What’s the pay rate for nurses if I sign up with Priority Care Staffing?
Our pay rate for sponsored nurses is currently $38 and will be adjusted to $40 after 3 months of working with us. If taking a higher management role, your pay rate may be higher.

10) Do we need to pay after the contract ends?
No. In fact, we will give you $2,000.00 Bonus for completing your contract with us.
